The world’s first Sikh Awards ceremony was held on the 10th October 2010, it was a historical and successful event organised by The Sikh Directory. All communities from around the world were fully supportive and gave positive feedback, which resulted in last year’s ceremony which took place on the 9th October 2011 becoming a global event. Now in its third successive year The Sikh Directory is pleased to announce this year’s award ceremony took place on 21st October 2012 at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge, in London.
Honouring Sikh’s for their contributions from around the globe was inspiring and enjoyed by more than 750 guests who celebrated and shared in the success of the extraordinary achievements Sikhs have made. This presented everyone with a unique occasion to meet and network with Sikhs from all disciplines including business, scholars, politicians and respected non-Sikh community members from all faiths.
Sikhs have made a significant impact around the world giving encouragement to younger generations who strive to achieve continuous success. Whilst there is more work to do, the awareness of the Sikh identity has also become more understood and respected as the enormous contributions of the Sikhs are celebrated on this global scale.
The Sikh Directory would like to thank all the guests who attended this exhilarating and entertaining ceremony this year, from around the World…
