On Sunday 18th May Asian Women MEAN Business – AWMB – is hosting its second London networking event at Ealing Golf Club. Starting at 1.30pm this is an afternoon of inspiration, connection and collaboration for Asian women who want to network with other like minded women.
The theme for this event is ‘Well Being’. Our two speakers Prabha Shiyani and Jaina Mistry will be sharing their business and personal journeys.
Prabha had a complete career change and launched her business Flourish Well (http://www.flourishwell.co.uk) after being diagnosed with mouth cancer at the age of 31. She will be sharing how she learnt to thrive and not survive when life handed her one of the toughest challenges.
Jaina is a yoga teacher and owner of Yoga with Jaina (http://www.yogawithjaina.com) she has been practicing and teaching yoga full time for over 3 years and will candidly share her challenges in setting up her business and following her passion.

There will be an opportunity to network and connect with others. AWMB Founders Rupinder Kaur & Panna Chauhan will also exclusively be sharing their research findings into Asian women in business. A whopping 211 women answered anonymous surveys that looked into what the barriers, challenges and motivations are behind Asian women who have either started a business, are in the process or thinking about it. Two focus groups were held in London & Midlands to truly get under the skin of Asian business women. The findings are very insightful and give us the most up to date research and views of Asian business women and those aspiring to be.
