Sikh entrepreneur is a fairly new organisation that was formed because we saw a gap in the community setup in regards to a forum of some sort where the youth and the community can find role models in the business context. There are lots of sikh businesses out there but we don’t always get to know or hear about their inspiring journey.
So when we setup SikhEntreprenur.com we started looking for news, bios and information that we could find related to sikhs in business and started to collate this information in a central place. The site has picked up momentum and we are getting good feedback form the community..
The purpose of Sikh Entrepreneur is to build the biggest network of Sikh Entrepreneurs, action takers and leaders in business and human potential, so we can learn from each other and grow and contribute even more as a community.
That might sound really ambitious but someone once said to me, “if people don’t laugh at your goals then they are not worth having”. So we thought let’s live big.
We are looking to expand with digital content, interviews with entrepreneurs and events to cover an array of topics related to Entrepreneurship as well as sikh women in business and at the same time support in the best way we. We don’t believe in handouts as we all have to earn our way though life (Kirth Karo), but we have the spirit of connection, collaboration and contribution in mind. Working collective will attract more more momentum for all.
